Evidently we're supposed to put our customised layouts and stuff in the Profile box... I have a problem. I screwed up my profile box beyond all recognition. Let's not go there, because I can't even clear it. It's like a soul-sucking monster right now.

So my question is: Is it possible to use one of those blank boxes as a profile, with the pretty backgrounds, html layouts etcetc instead? :s crosses fingers

It is, but you can also just go to prefs, then customize sidebar, then profile. The code all shows up there!

If I understood right... It won't work if you don't have the Profile section on it :(

What happens if you go here, delete it all and save?

Oh... ._. Hmm I actually can't edit, save or reset it the profile. The mess I left overrides the buttons xD

If you can't do that or can't access the profile box and delete it that way, maybe you could file a ticket and ask if the staff can clear it for you? :)
