I need a new antivirus program since mine died, does anyone know any good free ones? Avast is only a trial, so i need another...

I tried AVG and its not picking up any tracking cookies or anything...

I dunno, I don't run antivirus, due to the fact that I run Mac OS X. You could try macafee, if you use Comcast.

I use AVG. It picks up tracking cookies and such if you have the newest version (9 something or other). You could also download free anti-spyware to go with it, like Spybot: Search and Destroy - also free.

I agree with everyone else... AVG is good. If it doesn't work for you, you might want to look up some troubleshooting tips. There are probably all sorts of threads on the internet that would address your problem.

I used to know more but I've become dependent upon AVG... it really, really does help, so you might wanna give it a second chance.

Yeah, AVG swore I didnt have a net connection? After talking with my college, I am only allowed to use mcaffee due to their stupid firewall, thanks anyway though :)
