My idea is that so we dont get tons of multiples, have when the items are put in our stocking, when someone besides the owner goes to their wl it only shows items not in your stocking. :D

Oh, but I always want ! I'd like a bunch of them in my stocking, and they're on my wishlist. ;o

Or maybe simply everyone but the owner can see whats in their stocking? But someone might tell the owner and ruin the surprises. :( That could happen on both occasions, though.

Thats the only problem :/

If things started disappearing from my wishlist I'd either think I was going mad or come to the conclusion that someone had added that to my stocking. :p

i kind of like how they set up the stockings. but you have a very interesting idea. but it would stink if people started telling one another what was in peoples stockings.
