So, I've been looking into buying a camcorder to make some home movies. I use Windows Movie Maker, and it will only accept certain file formats. I've found some really nice looking camcorders, but they say the video format is .mpeg2. Windows Movie Maker accepts .mp2. Is there any difference between these two file formats? If so, will .mpeg2 work in WMM?
