It would be awesome to have something on the body layer to give you joints like a BJD : http://pics.livejournal.com/orphidgirl151/pic/0004h09t Sort of in the same way the Calavera Bride Needle and Thread gives you stitches. :3

That would be interesting, but the skin color would be hard to match. Everyone has diffrent colors. I guess you could make a line of colored ones and skin tone ones. (Buy seporate ones?)
It could be like the cursed gingerbread where it covers the whole body. Or just conveniently placed black lines so skin color doesn't have to be added. I think it's a neat idea.
