This could be a real stupid question on my part, but I read the rules about the foreign language usage and found nothing about it..

Can pets have names that are in a foreign language?

I've seen several pets with names in a foreign language, so it seems like it's okay within reason. Like... I imagine you'll get in trouble for using a word you can't use as a pet name in English.

You just can't use foreign language on public parts of the site, ie. forums, commments, etc.

Shop + pet names in other languages are a-ok! Mine are :)

I think it's ok. I got in trouble for speaking French. :( Pinky is a bad noodle. :P But yeah I think it's OK. Im stalking a pet name right now. :P

Phew, thanks guys. I was afraid I'd have to get the item to change one of my pet's names because it wasn't English. Happy now. =D
