How were Masquerade Plot points calculated?

I did all the steps got all the achievements except for Dean --So did my friends they got the full 2600 and I got 2070????

No one except staff knows how the points got calculated. Pretty much any theories users have come up with were disproved by other people.
I kind of figured as much....I guess i should just be happy with getting prizes at all.

My theory is
Everyone who finished the plot got 2500 and then a random number between 50 and 100. Yup, yup, yup.
