At least, I guess it'd be shojo. I usually prefer more action-based stuff but lately I've been wanting to try some romantic types. Um.. the only thing I can think of that I've read already is Fruits Basket. I'd also love something kind of similar to School Days (you know, stuff that shows a dark but still realistic kind of ending/moral). So, any suggestions would be loved. Thanks in advance!!
Yay a School Days fan! Excellent.
Give some of these a try :)
Comedyish: Toradora! Kimagure Orange Road (old, but great)
Drama: Myself; Yourself True Tears Ef- A Tale of Melodies/Memories Kimi ga Nozomu Eien
Action-based romance: Saikano Basilisk
I recommend Princess Tutu. (Don't get steered away by the name. xD) It's basically a story about four ballet dancers who are stuck in a tragic fairy tale that came to life. I'll warn you that it starts slow, but once the story gets moving along around episodes 8 or 9 it's worth it. There's a lot of unexpected awesome-ness that comes out of it. :)
Graphic by me~

Hm, I'd suggest Lovely Complex. It's pretty funny, and it's less cliché than many shojo manga out there.
