It's been all over the news, so I'm sure most have heard of it by now, but there was a shooting in New Orleans at a mother's day parade yesterday.

I'm so horrified this happened but I'm just not surprised anymore. It just seems like people going and shooting up festive events for no good reason is happening all the time now. Anyone who says gun violence isn't a problem is crazy.

Makes me feel like it'd be better to stay in the house rather than go to large events :/ Why do these goddamn idiots have to fucking ruin everyone's lives? It really does seem like this is happening all the time...it's fucking insane.

Yeah, shootings are becoming entirely too commonplace in the United States right now, it's downright scary how common they are right now.

This is really awful but... I'm not even surprised anymore. I'm glad nobody was killed and it seems like most were just mildly wounded. Best wishes to them all, though.

I'm not surprised anymore, I'm more horrified than surprised. And of course, we don't need gun control! Absolutely fucking not! How many more people need to get shot or die from being shot before someone does something?

This could have totally been prevented if everyone had guns! right
