The Proposal Hokay so, I'm not super old-fashioned; we went ring shopping together xD Dos -- the boyfriend (now fiance!) of six years -- wanted to know that we'd find something I'd like, and I didn't find it any less exciting. After a lot of looking and finding a few things that struck our fancy, we found a store downtown that had this ring, but in yellow gold. We were really set on white, though! We spoke to the saleswoman and lo and behold, their on-site jeweller could just take a cast of the ring and make it in white gold instead... plus with nicer diamonds :'D We came in to pick it up three weeks later, got it paid for, and then Dos takes my hand: "We've waited six years already, I figure we've waited long enough :D" ... and pops a knee ;u; He told me that he loved me, that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me, and asked me to marry him right there in the jeweller's! The saleswoman (who we've actually formed quite a bond with at this point) gave the cutest EEP ever. AND I DIDN'T EVEN CRY A++.

Nope. Neither of us has any idea how to do the whole wedding thing, so we've set a maximum time limit of two years from now and we'll figure things out as we go. XD

We sort of did too, actually :'D We've lived together for... uhhh... two years? Three? Several years XD And we knew we wanted to spend the rest of our lives with one another, so we just made it a bit more official now!
