Anybody actually ever have something happen to their pet after feeding?

No, not yet. I can't say I know what's normal, but nothing will happen to the species/color/stats.

Nothing actually happens. People reckon it's supposed to indicate a mutation of the pets' stomach or something. Nothing visible that affects anything. :P
