It may be too late for this feature to take place this year so please consider it for next year if possible?

So I was just thinking ... we can put items under anyone's tree, any item we want and it's all well and good. We can decorate our trees and spread cheer, we can send gifts through Mysterious Melody and well there's a lot we can do for the holidays. But I realize we don't have Luminaire cards or at least the idea of putting them on trees or sending cards to friends....

Now let me explain what I mean!

Sometimes during the holidays instead of getting gifts we get cards, either filled with money, gift certificates, or just a kind heartwarming note from the person who sends you the card. Well why don't get have that option hear? Yes I know you can send gifts with notes and if you don't want people to know you can send it anonymously. Well that's all well and good with items but what about sp?

I think it would be a cute item to place cards on peoples trees you can leave a note inside and have an option to leave some sp or csc in the card. It's for people you don't know who to shop for or if someone you know has a goal they're aiming for and items just aren't practical you can leave them sP so they can use it any way they want.

Also the csc idea could allow us to leave some random denomination of csc to someone if we say can't afford a 100 credit gift card yet we have a little csc to pass along.

tl;dr

In short all I'm really saying is having a Luminaire card option to put sp or csc or just leave a note for someone would be a cute idea.

Yes I'm well aware of the comments option and csc cards and buying items from shops but really you can do that all year, this is supposed to be special.

Anyway just sharing the idea, thanks for reading.

I really love this idea! Even sometimes during the year, I'd love to send money to friends, but telling them to set up a trade feels kind of strange.

I can't remember where, but mentioned a while back that he didn't really want users trade/move lower amounts of CSC cause it might turn into another form of currency with like a 1 sP = 1 CSC value or something to that effect.

--Ah alright thanks for pointing that out about the csc. But yes sending sP without the need for trades would be nice it would really let you surprise someone!

Yeah, I would love to be able to do that, it would also be nice for just the actual card, the ones we have on site are just so outdated, <-- seriously ;)

I love this idea so much!

There are vouchers [item=10,000 sP voucher] to send sP, but they aren't of high enough value and there are limits to how many you can buy per day. If they fixed the voucher system (much simpler than setting up a whole new system), then something like this, while nice, wouldn't really be necessary.

What said, I agree. This is mostly unnecessary.
