What did you do/ are you doing for Christmas?

I made some similar cookies earlier! Vanilla instead of cinnamon though and I decided to put little dollops of raspberry jam in the centers.

Was the recipe similar? Did you use vanilla extract(liquid), in dust or how?

I went to my moms for Christmas. Ate some pinwheel sandwiches (YUM!) and I had a cupcake. This will sound slightly depressing but I've mainly been freaking out. My brother fell off a 20 foot ladder yesterday. He shattered his left hip and his elbow. The doctors said it was a relief he didn't die. He is having surgery on his elbow in the morning and as for his hip he probably won't get it til thursday or friday.. He's also bleeding internally and his wife thinks he has an infection not to leave out a fever. I'm so worried. I have to say it's a Christmas miracle that he is still alive. I am so thankful that he is alright. I just hope his surgeries and recovery goes well.. He will be bedridden for 3 months. Aside from that I think I will have a great Christmas. I'm with my parents and little brother (away from college woot!) I also found out today I am getting a vile of my uncles ashes. Oh! And then I went and told my sister about what happened to our brother Tod. She wasn't even phased. Pfft.. Shes so heartless...

Anyways! How come your mom won't talk to you if you don't mind me asking. :c That'd break my heart. Whenever my mom is even slightly upset with me I freak out.

Me? Well... I was quitely reading (Sunday) and she started screaming my name when she was just 4 steps away from me and I could hear but I was about to finish the chapter so kept reading and then was going to pay attention to her. We were at grandma's house with all the family and then my grandma hit me in the arm for not paying attention to my mom so I got mad and gave a horrible glare at my mom and she then insulted me... I hate it when I get insulted in front of other people because it is like they want to look great and make me look like shit so got mad and then she tried to punch me so I hit her and then we started fighting and then I grabbed her neck, then kick her... then she fell on top of me.... We were in the floor and then dad arrived running (he was sleeping in a hammock outside) so he took her away from me and then he tried to pick me so I screamed like... the horriblest scream you have ever heard and then burst to tears and my dad hugged me and I screamed once again to my mom and since then.... she has not talked to me. Not to mention that my relatives are really scared of me. I mean, they never bother because they know I can turn nuts from one to another so I get to have peace most of the time but this time was a boom. I offered my mom a cookie earlier tho. She took it and said thanks. Then, back to not talking to anyone. This was my first time making cookies :D

So it still christmas eve here and like we made a dinner consisting of turkey , stuffing , mashed potatoes and gravy and cranberry it came out okay. In the morning we will go help family cook and then open presents.

Not a fan of birds.... but I love mashed potatoes! :D And presents, that sounds super excited. Not a tradition in my family but I'd love to have that!

ya like all I ate was some mashed potatoes and stuffing I am feeling a little weird hope i'm not getting the flu :)) its probably because I been having the air conditioner on all day :D heheh

Tell me about it, I've been sick for 2 weeks now and now I am somehow better but still sniffing mocus from time to time. Oh, I don't mean to sound disgusting. It's not mocus mocus but more like a viscous liquid with no odor or color.

I know really it doesn't help that I have allergies on top of it and my eyes /look like owl eyes :( lol

A couple of camomile tea bags will help you out :3 Be sure to wet them on some warm water.

Every year we go over the neighbors house and have a yankee-swap. They have kids about my and my sisters age that we get along with so it's pretty good fun. We live right next to each other but we all get to sit down and have fun together this one time of year. Getting more and more fun now that us kids are older and can drink. After that I went over my boyfriends house, gave him and his sister their gifts and stayed with them for a while. His younger sister just started dating a new boy who is so nice and really a good guy which is a change so that was nice to see.

That sounds super fun! Always surround by the ones you love and know. Super sweet 😊 I envy your Christmas!

I used vanilla extract. I believe the recipe was of similar proportions, except it was only the egg yolk instead of the whole egg.
