How can I turn my comments off, or to accept comments from friends only?

I don't think there is a true way to turn comments off or make it friends only because there is the comment button () below your achievements and comment you that way. The only place I would of thought it would of been is here but there isn't a option: http://www.subeta.net/preferences.php?act=prefs
