I've got some friends who's statuses are set as 'hidden', but I think it would be nice if you get the option to choose to be 'hidden' for everyone or for everyone except those that you have accepted a friend request of. Or maybe even only those you have marked as your 'favorite' friend.

I really like the idea of the 'favourite friend' option. I probably would just leave mine as unhidden, but I have a few friends that would probably like this. :)

Ohh yes! I sort of suggested something like this quite a while ago but you suggested it much more succinctly than I did. I would love this option!
