I tried the games section but no one seems to answer/know over there so trying for some help here.
How do you purchase books in the Spindles shop as clicking on them doesn't get them, what am I missing?

You're not purchasing from the shop with sP, but with the int exp you've gained, so if you're trying to purchase a book for 6k, the purchase won't go through unless you have 6k int exp.
