So I'm having a pretty horrible holiday season. I'm too broke to buy gifts for my family, or to even have a Christmas tree, my mom doesn't even want to celebrate and is only doing so to make me and my sister happy, and my relationship is super rocky right now I honestly don't even know if we're celebrating together or not. Honestly it all sucks, especially since I love Christmas.

So, to make myself feel better I am going to try to have a happy Luminaire here on Subeta by giving away gifts to you all! I can't afford to buy the people I love presents, but at least I give the people of Subeta some pixels under their pixel trees!

So post here and I'll leave something for you. It might be a wishlist item or it might not be, it all depends, but I'm not giving out "junk" items either. I'll ping you when I leave your gift so I can keep track and make sure I get everyone.

EDIT: Thank you to everyone who has wished me well this holiday season. I would like to say that things have gotten better, but they've gotten worse. My boyfriend broke up with me and I now have to move out of our apartment and back in with a family member. Which means I'll be spending Christmas packing. it all kind of sucks and I'm trying to stay positive but at this point I feel like I'm entitled to feel like crap. And because I'm now whining I will giving everyone who posted in this thread extra gifts. Thanks for reading this x

D: I've been doing the same, trying to make people on subeta happy by giving random people gifts whereas in real life I'm most likely not doing anything, I don't mind so much that there won't be any presents under the tree, I just wish it didn't feel so miserable. I'm very sorry to hear that. I know that my last Christmas wasn't the greatest. Both sides of my family were broke and very clearly stressed out about being broke and there was a lot of tension during Christmas day and not a lot of fun or cheer to be had. Hopefully your Holiday season starts picking up. <33

Well, if it is of any help. In my family nobody ever give gifts to anyone, it's not the way we do things and Santa haven't arrived in about 5 years. I'm only looking towards having a modest dinner with my parents and sister. There's no Christmas tree, lights, candles... Literally, nothing. I don't even think we got money to buy something really fancy and probably eating a gifted turkey from my Dad's job. Nor my sister neither I like eating turkey or chicken (No birds for us, we find it sort of disgusting). But I don't think my Christmas willl be crappy as long as I'm with the ones I love. You could think about it and try to sorround yourself with positive people. It gets me sad that my Christmas will be a little bit lonely even if I'm with my nuclear family but I know there are some people that have it so much worst and that's when I thank for having a roof, cozy home and some decent food in the fridge.

I'm sorry to hear about all that. :( Christmas is definitely going to be a lot different this year for me too, and not in a good way. We're breaking all traditions because my family decided to go off and have a trip without me starting tomorrow. I'll basically be alone for a week and even on Christmas Eve/Christmas. It totally sucks, but I'm trying hard to enjoy it anyway. I definitely know where you're coming from! Wishing you a merry christmas. ❤

Hope everything gets better for you. This year my Christmas will sort of suck as I will be spending it "alone" with my older brother. The rest of my family (just parents and a little brother) are in a completely different country. We don't really celebrate it anyways though...so it's not like I'm not used to it. Never really got any gifts (not that I care about that much, but it still would be nice to get something)...

Sorry to hear about things at home and you're relationship. I love Christmas too, or at least I did, but my bf last year was bringing me down because he didn't have family or anyone that brought him anything for Christmas so he pretty much made me feel like crap even though I tried to be his family and so did my mom and aunt. I tried to give him gifts even though I barely had money to get the rest of my fam anything and he got me nothing not even a card. I always went out my way to try and make him happy even threw him a little party for his bday. When mine came around did I get anything? Nope.I know it's not about the gifts, but he didn't make me feel appreciated. Glad we're not together anymore. He made me miserable.
