Thought I'd make this thread for anyone who is grateful to anyone for anything. c:

I'm dedicating this thread to a stranger who helped jump start my dad's car while I was stuck in a parking lot. I'm a new driver so I haven't dealt with car problems on my own before so I was feeling pretty helpless...the battery on my dad's car was dying and I couldn't start it. I tried to call my dad to see if he could walk me through the problem, but nothing worked. Then this nice older guy saw me and asked if I was having battery problems, I said yes and then he and asked if I had jumper cables, thankfully I did and he was able to get the car going.

The end. :P

So, who has helped you lately?

Aw that's a nice story, I'm always glad to hear people helping out other people.

Along those lines, I'm thankful for the guests who smile and say hello to me at work. It's just a small gesture but it does mean a lot to me to be acknowledged, and share a smile with a stranger!

At the temple, there is a poem called "Loss" carved into the stone.
It has three words, but the poet has scratched them out.
You cannot read Loss, only feel it.

I'm thankful for the guy at the gym always smiling at me and saying "hi" and "have a good day / bye or see you later". He also open the tourniquet before I shove my ID to the scan,I can't barely see anything when my glasses get blurred and full of fog. It's a super small gesture, but people usually ignore me.

I'm also thankful to my college, they gave me another chance to do something with my life.
