Are there any good free art programs out there? Right now I'm using Inkscape and it's taking forever to color in a chibi. It just doesn't have a very user friendly layout.

I've tried GIMP, but whenever it goes to start up, it gets locked up on the fonts :(

Help?

Do you use a PC? If so, Paint Tool SAI is pretty good.

I use ms paint, gimp and chibi paint. Chibi paint is like a free photoshop but you can't save. XD I just started to use it a few days ago;

Ah, I didn't realize. I don't have a PC, and there's no Mac version so I've only ever used it occasionally.

I use Paint.NET and GIMP.Both are free.I drew the adoptables in my signature in Paint.NET and colored them in GIMP.

And I drew this using only GIMP.

SmoothDraw is a good one too.

If you have firefox you can use the pixlr add-on. It's pretty nice. It's like a baby photoshop.
