Major Drills told me to, "Give your pet a Loving Squibbly Octo to play with." However, every pet I try to play with says it's boring.

Your pet needs to be sad in order for it to count since it deletes the toy. You can try taking the minion away from your pet, but I'm not sure how long it takes to make him sad.
