They won't disappear when your GA runs out but if you disown a pet you'll need another GA in order to get another pet for that slot.

They do not disappear but if you for some reason put it up for adoption or something you cannot re adopt or refilll that slot till the GA is back on

Nope, you keep them forever but if you disown a pet you lose that slot until you get a new GA
