So right now I have an sMail with a friend that's...very, very long because it's been going on for a while. We've both deleted old messages out of our inboxes but that hasn't made it shrink. How do we make it smaller (so there'll be less scrolling xD), or do we just need to start a new one? Thanks!

As far as I'm aware, there's no way to make it "smaller." You'll just have to start a new one.

Very welcome c: If you guys really don't want to start a new message, you could always just hit the 'end' button on your keyboards as well, instead of scrolling.
