I was wondering, that is refreshing at Shadowglem the only way to get infected? Can you get infected if someone who has infection (for example at stage 6) kisses you?

Yes, you also have to be wearing one of the cardboard masks floating around the site, or skitters cardboard mask (in the cash shop, higher chance of being bitten).
