Are there any weapons that are good for battling that don't cost a gazillion sP? I don't generally have any interest in battling, so I don't want to blow my wearables budget on a weapon... But I want to beat Pylot.

Someone suggested the Fireside staff of Lore (something like that) and Malevolent grapefruit :)
