I'm considerably new to subeta, and was wondering if we dress up in the masquerade? Do we have any contest like we did on Luminaire?

The only thing you need to dress up with for Masquerade is a mask, otherwise you won't be able to dance.

There haven't been any contests with Masquerades up until now, but last year we did have a murder mystery event. I doubt that whatever we do this year will be that big of a deal, not with the Epidemic being so complex right now.

I think it would be awesome if the masquerade could tie into the pandemic thing this year like Skitters asking Fantine to the masquerade or something XD

There might be a contest, but there wasn't last year. Just wear what you want with a mask.

Dressing up isn't mandatory, but it is fun. ;) The first Masquerade, I had a different dress for every day. I had a blast.

I thinkt he tux looks very good. If we did have a contest I would dress better.

Like others have said, you do not need to dress down due to the lack of a subeta-wide competition :P However, there may be a user-run HA contest on, try here.

I'm happy just dressing like a slob with an unfitting mask. Shows how much effort I put into things.
