usually the quests he gives make you spend less than 10k total and he gives more pure sP than you paid. but for me, the past couple days, he's been giving me items worth 20k individually.

i just realized that maybe that's what happens as a matter of course when you do lots of quests. if it is, i will cease being annoyed with him and more annoyed with myself for being poor. XD

It isn't just you. Lately I've noticed quite a few items that restock for over 60k in the Main Shops showing up in his quests. Needless to say I haven't been completing those ones.

that's good to know. how many of his quests have you done to date? i haven't done a freakish amount but i've done enough to get a few achievements.

Nope you're not alone. He's being rather insufferable lately.... and being rather cheap too. :(

According to the achievement counter 1904, but I was here and questing years before achievements existed, so considerably more. Would be more since it started too, but I took a 10mo or so hiatus from the site a while back.

I've noticed this as well, and maybe it's just me but he's been giving me crappy items instead of tokens more and more often. It's going to end up cheaper for me to stop doing his quests and just buy my tokens from user shops, which is ridiculous.

i wouldn't go so far as to say it's better to buy tokens, but it has been getting kind of ridiculous. i've given up as many quests as i've completed in the past few days. =/

yeah you've done quite a few. o.o but has he done something like this before, in your experience? or has it been pretty consistent?

From my experience he goes through phases...some days he's super generous, other days he's a mean old miser.

doesn't surprise me. i guess the thing to do is just to deal with it and hope he lightens up soon.
