Friends of mine who have played for longer than me say that beating Saggitarius once rendered a Lucent, and I saw on Subeta Lodge that this must once have been too easily true (http://www.subetalodge.org/view/item/Lucent+%28Broken%29). Can anyone tell me whether it is true today that beating Sag more than once (which my pet accomplished...YAY!) might drop a Lucent? Fine if it doesn't, but I am curious.

Lucent is the special loot for Saggitarius, meaning that after your fifth win against him, you will get a Lucent as a prize rather than his normal item drops.

5 wins, it used to be one before the revamp. there was also a time whee you could get Lucents for any win you did against Saggitarius, up to 2 for one win because it was part of his random loot and not special loot. Good times.

Actually it was the [item=lucent (broken)].

I saw that link but the question was asking for a lucent. This item was never dropped, it was a lucent that Keith broke later because people had abused a glitch
