Recently I have noticed that, after being played for a while, DVDs and CDs removed from my DVD/CD drive are very very warm. After being played on my other computer, these discs are noticeably cooler.

Could there be a problem with this drive? Are these high temperatures normal and safe for my discs?

Please ping me in your replies. Thanks
