This is the site I'm having no end of issues trying to understand.

Here's the situation:

I have to send my phone in for servicing in the next week to 10 days. There are two games on my phone that I CAN'T safely save to my computer. The Virgin Mobile Customer Care Agent suggested I try Titanium Track for saving games, etc, that are saved to the SIM and are made specifically in a way that they won't allow you to save to a memory card.

I'm worried about all the time that I've spent (I've spent weeks on this game) and in-game purchases that I've made are going to be deleted forever when they wipe my phone while its in servicing.

They say I need to have my phone rooted prior to be being able to use this Titanium app. How do I root? What is this web page that I've linked above saying? I've installed ConnectBot like they suggested on that web page for Titanium, but I don't know how to use it, either.

I'm lost, I need help, and I need help ASAP before my phone gets sent in. I own a Samsung Galaxy S II. Please help! Thank you!!!

Disclaimer: Rooting your device is risky. It may void the manufacturer’s warranty, and may ruin your device – even if done properly. Hijinks, Inc. and myself take no responsibility for any damages that may occur by doing so.

One of my past customer did the rooting and lost his data.I turned them back (it took me a whole week) but he lost his warranty and now his phone is dead and he can't have a new one or his money back :/

Seriously? sighs Then I guess there's no hope for me and the game that I've spent so many countless hours on. I'm going to have to re-do the entire thing :(

Depending on how the game works,it might save somewhere online or by an "account sign up". Second choice would be a good memory card for your phone. And why can't you put your game in your pc exactly?

By all mean,it means to kinda "jailbreak" your phone: Iphone terms here Not for free device purpose, but you're obviously touching the pre-data instalation. If you decide to do it,get an issue and go back to Virgin Mobile aka Bell mobility baby, you'll most likely go back like this: :( I'll do some research myself,so give me the game names plz.I'm going to bed but I'll let you know about it.

GET A NEW PHONE
What a worthwhile comment on a nearly year-old thread.
