I have 6 cake mixes, a need for some kind of dessert and my over isn't working! Anyone know a good way to bake a cake on the stove?

- forget the cake mixes. They simply will not work on the stove top, that cooking method is all wrong. They will burn in places and be raw in others. Pick a different desert. Pudding, jello, fruit salad, even plain vanilla ice cream.

Have you ever heard of mug cakes? Pretty sure my sister has made a couple of little cakes in the microwave :P Maybe try looking that up?

I remember doing it a long time ago but they changed the measurements. Now I can't find it.
