I have (had?) this item in my wishlist, but it now does not exist in the shop search...is it in the process of being changed to something else? Glitching out? Deleted?

haha, did not know that...kinda like the spartan teddy and myriad of npc clothing items that no one can have then? I guess on the bright side, one less thing to have on my WL!

yep...at one time they were wishlistable and shop searchable....I'm kinda glad they're neither anymore. Too much like a taunt LOL "Look at all these pretties you can't have!!|;)

The Star Rod was asked for during item hunt. Since it is unobtainable it was changed to a staff only item so it wouldn't get asked for again.
