You could try Subetalodge's Minionizer for ideas. I think I know the thread you mean, but without forum search, it's hard to find.

I can't help you find the thread you're looking for but Subetalodge has a whole area dedicated to minions that should help you. It's all categorized by color/species/etc. [edit] LATE! XD
