I'm a vegetarian, been one for years, and in NO WAY do I equate eating meat to that despicable act. The two aren't even connected as all. I am all for animal rights, but I despise PETA because that organization makes animal lovers look like psycho paths.

The real sad part of this is that it demeans every single child who has ever been the victim of a pedophile. It takes their pain, their struggles to come to terms with the abuse, and everything they've gone through and trivializes it.

Well I see what he's trying to say - that the killing and eating of animals is as big of a crime as paedophilia in his eyes. Because he values the lives of (some) animals as much as humans, so for him it's like comparing murder, cannibalism and paedophilia.
