So uhh... Why can't I get into the islander shop? I just blew 10mil on the damn map to omen islands and it's proven to be pretty useless. Is there anything worth doing in omen islands or did I just waste all that money?

you need to go to games and turn the map in.

The shop is from an old plot and you can't get in anymore. But you do now have access to Ocean Depths which is generally considered the best vending machine. And you can do Hydrus Quests now to turn your pets Hydrus.

The islander shop was part of a restock war that happened last year. You cannot access the shop unless you were part of their team.

Wow, that... really sucks. I doubt any vending machine can possibly net me 10mil profit T.T Oh well, time to get back to RSing I guess >.<

As long as you can get there, go to Angrybeard's ship and get some free Pirate Food for killing rats.

Not to mention your pets can now stay in the Rathskeller Inn for 250sp per day per pet for a total of 31 days. The map isn't really a "waste" it has lots of nice features about it, you just have to know where to look.

getting access to Omen Islands is definitely worth it! you can also get Merena to turn your pet Hydrus.

getting access into the Blue Building, on the other hand... kind of useless unless you want the achievements. (I'm pretty sure Bumbuses can be sent?) :P
