My mom loves rock candy. Not to eat though, she just keeps it for the looks. I bought her a lime-green rock candy 3 years ago... and it's still sitting in her room.

That's pretty cool, does she have like huge collection of it or something?

No, because we rarely ever find them here. The rock candy I gave her is her only one, she would like to have a lot more, but as I said they're really rare here.

Ah, the places I know that sell them are the more country like areas that sell old fashioned candy.

I love rock candy! I tried to make it once but didn't adequately super-saturate the boiling water, so it didn't work. I may try again one of these days, though! :D

Where do you live? I've lived in the country all my life and the ONLY place that I/my mom knows where they're sold at is in a store 3 hours away.

Iowa, right around the bridge to Illinois. I usually see places that sell rock candy in like South Dakota or Texas.

I LOVE rock candy! It's not too hard to find here. There's a chocolate shop downtown that usually sells it and it's usually available in "country-style" candy stores, like at a pioneer village. It's awesome stuff.

I will love you forever if you trade me:
