Hello, all! It's December, and that means Melody's Cottage is open! This thread will contain what's received from Melody, every day, as close to midnight as possible.

If pings aren't your thing, Melody's Cottage also has a sidebar widget for a daily reminder to collect your items!

started this thread's grandfather(mother?)-thread four years ago, and the last three years I've done it! I start the thread early so people in #Melody can leave the group in case they don't want spoilers this year, or new people can join. Also, discussion and pinging friends! c: If you'd like to see last years items, the thread is right here! Make sure you don't post, it's over a year old. Please do not ping #Melody or #spoiler yourself! I will update this post every day and ping. If, for some reason, I'm unable to update the gorgeous will help me out in the posts right below mine.

To receive updates instantaneously almost immediately, join the Melody's Cottage Spoilers forum group! The ping group is here. There is also another ping group just for wearables. If you would like to join that instead, the it's right here. So, Melody will be pinged every day without fail, while Spoiler will only be pinged when there are new wearables.

And I'll be editing the first post so you'll be pinged to the OP each time, instead of page 5+ or something. I know I hate that.

If you receive something other than what is listed on any given day, please alert me with a ping via this board. I don't mind pings for any other reason, so don't worry! But if there's a problem, please make sure you ping me. c:

Once Melody's Cottage has started and I post the first day's items, please don't ping any groups! However, up until the 1st of December, feel free to ping your friends and groups! Please don't ping any groups to this thread. c:

tl;dr I will be keeping track to the best of my ability all of the items we receive from Melody over at Melody's Cottage. Do not read or click past this point if you do not want to know what the items are before you receive them!

thanks for this thread.. can't wait~~~ if you ask me, the people in the wearable and wardrobe forum groups should also be pinged, not only spoiler, if new clothes appear...

it's no problem at all~ and i'm not sure that it's against the rules, but it's at LEAST greatly frowned upon when non-specified ping groups are pinged during Melody's Cottage for the wearable (or books, etc) spoilers for the current day. at least, that's how it was when we started these threads... fifty four years ago! i believe for the first-ever thread we had to make sure the spoilers were far enough down the page to not be seen unless you scrolled. and even then, we had to have a blatant disclaimer. but that was before the spoiler tags. kinda like mysterious melody, i guess. it's against the rules to say what you've received from your partner. but if you or anyone else wants to ping the wearable groups BEFORE december starts, go ahead. c: i'm just afraid no one will want to be pinged and people scare me ahaha

oh, no, pinging those groups ONLY when clothes are being released... this is what i meant..;) i think that would be fair? of course, separate threads could also be posted, but i, personally, see this pointless.
