Kumos 🔍 Improvement January 8, 2026

Mobile + Accessibility

Fixed some important mobile issues based on feedback:

  • Pinch-to-zoom now works! You can now use two-finger pinch gestures to zoom in and out on the site
  • Sidebar now scrolls! If you have lots of widgets in your sidebar, you can now scroll through them instead of them being cut off at the bottom
  • Better touch targets: Buttons and links are now at least 44px in size for easier tapping.
  • Higher visibility sidebar button: The sidebar toggle button is now larger, higher in the layer stack, and respects iPhone safe areas (so it can't hide behind the top bar)

At least on my android phone, this works a LOT better. Only minor gripe is the quest bar still floats off the right side of the page a long way, making it awkward to do quests on it vs my laptop.

it does not matter what I say ever, you will force this on us regardless because its "your sandbox and you will do what you want" whether it works or not. kumos does not work on mobile. so forcing mobile users will cause people to quit.

just tested out some quests on mobile and it's pretty slick -- the only thing I'd suggest is having the "complete/give up" buttons be on a new line rather than having to scroll to the side for them.

it is much better for me now on mobile! even the option to use desktop works well with pinch-zoom now! typing this is zooming in too far but it lets me back out enough so bravo! i haven't tried quests yet in mobile so that's next. the HAs are distorted to super-skinny though in mobile for me, so that's a bit odd/off-putting, but pretty minor.

I appreciate the emphasis on mobile accessibility in this update! It reminds geometry dash free me of when I started using games adapted for touch screens; it truly made a difference. Maybe consider including user feedback sessions for further improvements?
