Just curious does the Darkheart Phantom appear at random or is he supposed to appear on a specific day and stay the whole day or something? I keep visiting Melody's cottage every so often but I haven't come across him yet and I was just wondering.

- he visits on a specific day and takes over all day, so as long as you check Melody's cottage once every day, you will run into him.
