ummm..if you have 100+ items in it can people still send you stuff?

They can. You just can't restock from the main or user shops if you have 100+ items in your inventory and quickstocking only allows 100 items at a time.

I believe they can, yes. However, items over 100 won't be shown in your inventory but they will be there.
