hello !! i literally just joined today and have been reading about stuff and things on here all day - i feel kind of overwhelmed but it does feel like a place i will enjoy cx

you can call me sadl ! im turning 30 this month and im a hobby artist ! irl im a social worker and do a lot of crafting with all sorts of materials in my freetime - i am also a furry and have made my own fursuit c': definitely hmu if youre one of my folks !!

basically, i "moved" here from another petsite because i am unhappy with the direction its taking and after almost 10 years (off and on) over there, i felt like its time to try something new !! i like forum based games with a nice community, i am 100% into visuals/aesthetics and customising - and i like casual games that dont take too much brain capacity. so what im saying is: i am here looking for a new cozy space i can use to escape reality for a while c':

lets talk hobbies: i have a switch and like playing cozy games like stardew valley, animal crossing and minecraft (yes, im still playing that). i like watching netflix - i especially enjoyed heart stopper, elite, young royals and eye wittness (pls talk to me if you have more recommendations) - but my alltime favourite is skam and its many adaptations by other countries. as you might have figured, im a big fan of queer media - and the other side of me just loves horror and trash horror. my favourites honestly are tucker and dale vs evil, cabin in the woods and john dies at the end. i also listen to music - mostly old school rock (and whatever sticked with me from my teenage emo phase), but my current fave is yungblud. and id like to point out that i was listening to it when everyone still said he sounds trashy and doesnt stick to a music style at all - and i am so happy my boy is played on radio these days !! also if youre into art and crafting, thats totally my topic. i also do digital art frequently and while im not a pro, i have already done my fine share of commissions - my proudest one being somw cute banner art for an elementary school, which they are still using cx

ill just end with some random facts so youre a sadl expert after reading this: i know austrian sign language, ive always had pets and currently live with an all white cat called felicette, i despise cooking and cleaning, im a night owl stuck in a job where i need to get up at 5am, i am legit afraid of the future, i wish i had more time to read books, i plan to illustrate a childrens book one day, last year i travelled to japan, i frequent conventions (anime, gaming, furry - even cultural ones), i do not look 30 which causes awkward situations a lot, i have two lil brothers that are also considered adults now, i am an infp-t personality type, i have never stopped loving pokemon things and still play every game...

...and i love chatting with new ppl because i generally find everyone interesting - so im happy to meet you ! cx
