I hadn't noticed that feature was missing until this post! Wonder why it's gone now. :(

I noticed yesterday that it was gone, but I've been on a hiatus for a long time so I had no idea if it was a recent change or not.

yeah it's been gone for at least a week or two, probably more like a month or two though. disappeared when we got reactions on the main site replacing the post-like and HA like buttons

Did they say if its ever coming back? Since we still have them listed under stats on the dashboard page

keith talked about this recently in the shoutbox. here are some of the things he said: "The like button for the avatars didn't really make sense to me - it didn't change when the user changed their avatar, so you were really giving a ❤ to the user, not the avatar."

"I want to be more intentional about that (and the reactions in general) being tied to a specific thing. So you can currently react (use the heart!) to outfits that are saved, and I'm going ot try to think of a way to make it work for the avatar that is specifically for the avatar that the person is wearing then (resets when they change? idk!)"

"I just don't know the right way to actually make that signal right now, and didn't like how it was before."

"I'd like it to be tied specifically to the avatar you are wearing right now, and be bale ot have some kind of historical view of the favorites that you've got for specific outfits. Otherwise, again, it really felt like you were just giving a heart to the user once and not again, and really didn't have a ton to do with the outfit (this is borne out by the data!) "

I honestly hope it retuns the way it was. I enjoyed showing my appreciation for others' outfits! I would also often like the same users' HAs because... drumroll... I like their style.

I'm glad something is being worked on for it at least and its not just gone forever

I miss this feature. Avatars are my favorite part of the site, and I always utilized the like feature to show love for awesome avatars other users made.

I like the suggestion of liking individual outfits or seeing which of your outfits generated how many hearts. We could have the option of making it public or private or something.
