Lol, let me see if the site holds itself together long enough for me to write this up.
This was born out of a discussion on the Discord and general, long-standing annoyance at the fact that users can and have lost months' long streaks in the bath house due to various glitches, goofs and just simple human forgetfulness. So, I flung this into the abyss and the abyss answered back that it seemed a good idea.
It's very simple:
It's a Bath House Protection Plan. Comes in 12hr, 24hr, 48hr, 72hr, and one week increments that ~~(maybe do or)~~do not stack and expire on their own after activation unless an admin or someone higher up overrides due to site downtime or recurring site problems like those of late. I mean, I'd be pretty livid if I had weeks worth of a streak that just upped and vanished into the ether because of site wide problems. It's one of the main reasons I don't have a streak going there at all, actually, the frustration ruined it for me. But that's another topic, back on the matter at hand!
The higher increments, of course, cost a pretty bit of sP and go higher the longer the time with the highest ones being GA only. Not insanely so, no, I'm not meaning like billions per use nor can they be stacked to be used in perpetuity either nor have more than one going at a time, so on and so forth. The users have to activate them and have no means to deactivate them (to prevent them from being used time and again with a little bit of time remaining or whatever), maybe turning into a cute little bag with a couple bath house tokens and an expired ticket in like, "Oops, this expired before you used it but the spiders in the sofa cushions paid rent!" Oh, and account locked so once they're bought, they're kind of like loyalty boxes.
I know that there's the one time fix a streak going and I'm not trying to replace that, far from it, I'm just suggesting something that could solve two issues (the need for an sP sink and bath house streaks going kaput) that the userbase continue to bring up.
There's my general idea. Maybe it's worth looking into?
