Forum Pulse: You don't have any pulse forums selected. You can do that here.
So I unchecked every single item in there, to make this new Forum Part go away or collapse or whatever, just no longer interrupt my forum visit and make me, guess what?, yes, scroll way to the end of the screen to get to the actual forum.
This is the result:
Keith Shoutbox ๐ฃ . . . in General ยท less than a minute ago Rat NVLB: biting directory 3rd Time's the Charm hoping on some chomps on kiarda now Rat in Survival Celebration ยท 3 minutes ago FabulousViolet Lairbear corner booth . . . in Chit-Chat ยท 4 minutes ago LadySaphira
etc., etc.
and at the side a column "Recently answered", Trending today, Trending this week.
HELP! how do I make it stop and vanish! Is the selection not working properly yet?
Sorry to bother you, but was wondering if you ever found a way to make it go away? I unclicked everything, but there was no change, I am not a fan of it. :(
(I had to manually ping you, the "ping user" button does nothing anymore)
No, unfortunately not. It's not a cache issue, because it looked the same this morning even after a couple of hard refreshes. I activated everything again, then only unclicked the main forum parts - which unclicks everything anyway, but it doesn't change. I also tried choosing only Site Functionality - but no, I keep getting all kind of games threads and the like. I went to Kumos - this doesn't even have the settings option - my idea was, it might trigger on Subeta, if set on Kumos... I find it utterly unnecessary and it bothers me. Like most of the "let's make Subeta look like Kumos" alterations :-(
I saw some place that the "ping user" doesn't work now, so I copied/pasted your name. Not sure if that worked and ping'd you or if you just happened to see I posted. I have not went over to kumos to check the forums there, but your idea makes sense.
It seems like since the mash up of the sites there is a lot more scrolling involed now on this site. Battle being one of the places. :(
Thank you so much for the reply. Hopefully there will end up being a solution for this.
Yeah, pinging manually works.
I hope so, too.
Indeed, for some moves I need to scroll down to reach the "Make your turn" or "See results" button.
