Does anyone know if the auto kissing booth is meant to count for the Kisses Given and Kisses Received achievements?

I believe it seems to count for the Kisses Received one - others kissing you makes the counter go up, regardless of how the kisses occurred.

However it doesn’t appear to go up for when I give any kisses via the auto feature.

Is this as intended? I know there’s a lot of stuff going down at the moment with the site, but thought it worth an ask.
