i need to remove my zombie skin so i can start working on another, but the regular wardrobe won't load so i figured i'm meant to switch to the kumos version. and while i was trying to get that set up, i noticed this on the "welcome" page:

umm? what? this sounds terrible, please tell me it's an early april fools joke. no way are you limiting wardrobe functionality for users without an active GA. these limits would make it virtually unusable for most people. wtf do you meannnn 50 wardrobe items max? can't even unlock all the hairstyles that you already have to buy unless you also pay for a GA? AN INSULTINGLY SMALL NUMBER OF DRAWERS???? and wtf even is "priority contest entry"?

look i know we're spoiled now but i lived through the 2/3 max items per layer and you had to rent more, 3-5 max saved outfits, the whole shebang, and you can't seriously expect people to accept going back to that kind of dichotomy. are we also going to go back to limiting free accounts to a maximum of 5 pets? should posting in the forums and customizing pet profiles and buying from shops also be gated behind a GA??

I'll make copy changes to the pages, but the custom drawers are a new Kumos feature, in the new wardrobe. :/ I don't know why you would come to the page and just automatically assume the worst. When have we ever tried to upcharge people a ton for gold accounts? They're three dollars a month.

i'm not "assuming the worst" i'm interpreting the text on the page the way it comes across. it didn't say 50 items on your avatar, it said 50 wardrobe items, which makes it sound like you can only have 50 items in your wardrobe. drawers are already the name of an established feature so saying you can only have 5 of them makes it sound like the current drawers that we already have will suddenly be limited to a maximum of 5. the fact that subeta has never locked stuff behind a GA to such extremity is exactly WHY i was shocked and couldn't believe what i was seeing, which is why i made the post.

the exclusive hairstyles thing is still confusing. does that mean you have to have an active GA to continue wearing the hairstyle after you've unlocked it, or is just having a GA once enough to add the hairstyle to your account permanently?
