graveyard is SUCH a cool colour but MAN......... do a lot of the graveyard pets make me go "noooooo........"

and it's funny because you've got pets like the demi or clawsion who don't even look rotted or decomposing or even really "dead" besides the visible stitches/scars, just kinda mutated and honestly looking pretty content:

then there's the category of "you can tell this pet is dead but the damage is (mostly) pretty tame and they also look pretty happy with themselves", which i also like a lot:

and then we've got what i like to call the "AHHHHHHHHHHH" tier which contains me looking at drawings on a computer screen and feeling sad for fictional animals :') i think some of the harder-hitters (at least for me) are the ones based on ways in which the pets' earth counterparts are often killed, usually by humans, though some of them are just. REALLY graphic/grotesque for a pet site (most of which are, y'know. For Kids, which steers your expectations). i think these designs were one of my initial indicators when i first joined that i was Not on neopets anymore lmaoooo

then there's just the ones i think have really creative body horror, with varying levels of actual gore (especially with pets that aren't organic at all!!).......... special shoutout to these guys <3

and of course this is by no means a comprehensive list......... so my engagement bait question is!! which graveyard pet is your guys' favourite??? atm mine might be the graveyard malticorn (though i am uhhh Biased because the lab zapped one of my fellas into one heheh)......

i'd love to have some of the others too but alas........ pet slots expensive and i can't afford to spend real money on the site atm u_u once i get employed again though...... oooooh watch out

AHAHAH YEAH i ALMOST brought up that one but then didn't because it didn't quite fit into the categories i made up (at least i sure HOPE that mallarchy wasn't still alive when it was plucked, cooked and had its legs removed T_T) but it is both uniquely upsetting and. kind of hilarious LMAOOO

ahhh i WISH i could see your neela's page!! ;_; you can probably tell i'm rockin' the survival skin based loosely on the graveyard neela, so i like those guys too; seems that both user and pet profiles are busted currently though. hopefully that gets fixed soon :'D

EDIT: OKAY OKAY so the forum headshot links are broken (lead to a template page), but it seems like the petinfo.php links (with the pet's numerical id) IS working!! sadly i don't have any fun art or custom code for my pets yet though so mine are all super boring and also visually messed up atm u_u
