I've heard about that forum tickets are now given out manually by Minimods, in a effort to cut spam down which is great imo but I think that puts too much strain on the MM and many posts that deserve forum tickets go without getting recognition, by no one's fault it just be too much for them to check all posts

So I like to suggest that normal users get an allowance of votes for posts could be a monthly thing, so like for example regaular users get 3 and gold users get 5 or could just be the same for both.

There should be two categories:

1. "This has brightened my day/Gave me a smile" - no review - insta 1 ticket to user
2. "This is helpful" - goes into a review queue so staff or Minimod can see if it is actually helpful - after review passes user recieves 3 tickets and any votes after get insta passed for that post

Additional note: could limit the user to only vote a post helpful once (like they can't keep giving the same post the "this is helpful" vote each month) - though i don't think it necessary

I think this would give a feeling of being more involved and allows users to show apperication to other users that have been helpful, also once the system is going it may encourage people to contribute a helpful post in their own way. While the "Gave me a smile" allows points to trinkle similar to before.
