Hello everyone. Sorry for the pings to everyone who doesn’t really know me. I just thought doing the group pings with an easier way of catching everyone who does.
I’m not one for sharing my rl but my subeta self has been a bit pants lately so I wanted to let y’all know why. It's not a sympathy ploy but a way to say even if I'm quiet & not so active I am still here & do appreciate/miss you all.

Last December my Mum, whom I’m very close to, got really ill. In April she had an operation to remove a growth, but they couldn’t get it all. They biopsied it and diagnosed her with Leiomyosarcoma, it’s a really rare cancer and has a life expectancy of 2 to 5 years. She’s been doing different chemo treatments for the past year but nothing has worked so far. We are really hoping this latest type of chemo is going to work. Every time I visit with her I end up staying for longer than I expect to and at Christmas I was there for a whole month. She’s still in good spirits and hasn’t been drastically ill from the chemo, yet. Everything does feel all up in the air all the time and when I’m back home it’s hard to feel settled and not anxious. I’m so sorry that I haven’t been being very active here, I really want to. I want to have somewhere to escape and I know subeta is good for that and I have lots of people to talk to here. I just need to reach out a bit more.

Oh, darlin, I have been missing you!! I am so empathetic as I lost my mama to nasty cancer. It's been 20 years but still sob for her at times... You will so be in my thoughts even more and now my prayers. Love you ❤ hugs
