I typed out a whole long thing and then deleted it on accident, anyways here's the summary:

I don't think the current Blue Building ranking system is fair to people who haven't been playing this game long enough to be rank 14k+. That being said I don't want those high-ranking folks to lose their progress, so I'm proposing the [relatively] easy fix of making a monthly/quarterly leaderboard alongside the all-time one. I think this will encourage interaction with the area, quests, and obviously shop items. It's my favorite area on the site [is that strange..?] and I'd love to see my name up there, but the truth is it would be impossible for me unless I put in YEARS of work AND someone else faltered consistently enough for me to pass them. That's not fair! I would happily settle for a timed leaderboard, maybe it's even a matter of monthly leaderboards being for management/employees of the month and the all-time boards being for executives. Could have achievements related to it perhaps?

I know this isn't the most pressing issue, but I wanted to give my thoughts anyway. Thanks for reading!

I'm on the leaderboard (8th place) and I agree with you! I don't think those of us at the top are likely to quit and give up our spots any time soon but others should get a chance to be seen too. I really appreciate that you don't want us to be reset and lose the rankings we've worked years to attain though. Having an "employee of the month" leaderboard alongside the "management" list is a great idea. There could be an "employee bonus" (some amount of sP or a unique item or something) that goes out to the monthly high achievers. I'm all for more achievements too!

(ETA There'd probably have to be some sort of cooldown if you make it onto the monthly high score list since some of us just do those quests every single day and would always be on there lol)

Never crossed my mind to see the ranks and yeah, I doubt I will ever reach 14k, I'm at 2k. I don't ever pay attention how many ranks it climbs when completing the quests... But I love the concept of seeing people showing up as employees of the month and some achievements to collect, with no one losing anything.
