It would be nice to have a spell check here as well.

I've noticed this as well & also that on my phone, words don't auto-capitalize at the beginning of a sentence like they do on other sites/apps. I wonder if these things may be related to the issue that has mentioned a couple times about not being able to use their screen reader properly on kumos. I do see that in the code, this textbox's class is "codemirror" so is the problem potentially that this isn't a traditional textbox but rather one intended for coding?
